Successful Development of Damp-proof, High-strength Corrugated Paper

The Shanghai Guangfa Paper Mill has produced light high-strength and damp-proof corrugated paper suitable for packing damp-proof products. The quality of the paper box has improved greatly. A test by the Shanghai Municipal Commodity Inspection Center shows that the index of the paper’s physical functions exceeds the state standard set for corrugated paper. The paper’s hydroscopicity and water seeping have reached the standard of similar products in the world. The standard of water seeping of corrugated paper made in Indonesia is 180 seconds, and that of Shanghai-made paper is 1,800 seconds. The APP surface hydroscopicity of products of the Indonesia Gold Light Group is less than 75 grams per square meter; that of a Taiwan company less than 50 grams; and that of Shanghai also less than 50 grams.
