Shanghai Tobacco Industry Develops New Adhesive

Since the beginning of last year, the Shanghai Tobacco (Group) Company Cigarette Materials Factory has positively tap its potential and increase efficiency. In line with the state that the factory has to import a great deal of expensive glue from overseas in the production process of filter plugs and cartons, the factory leaders resolutely decided to build an adhesive experiment workshop, and organized technical backbone force to study and develop adhesive products themselves.  At present, the factory is self-sufficient in white used in carton, middle line glue for the formation of filter plugs and coped joint glue, and has some middle line glue for marketing. In addition, the workshop developed a package of products including water purification agents and paper tube glue, which have been approved by customers and brought economic returns for the enterprise. The workshop is developing varieties and high-grade adhesive products and is striving to become a new economic increasing point of the factory.
