Automatic Cut Tobacco Transmission & Storage System Passes Technical Appraisal

The automatic system for cut tobacco conveyance, storage and distribution, produced by the Rugao Tobacco Equipment Factory in east China’s Jiangsu Province, passed the technical appraisal organized by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Tobacco Monopoly Bureau in Liuzhou City on June 20. Experts agree that the system has reached all the designed requirements and is up to the advanced world level. It is a fully automatic electro-mechanical material flow system equipped with new technology and new materials. The system’s effective operation rate is 98.9 percent with no weight error. The system can supply seven high-speed cigarette machines with each producing 7,000 cigarettes per minute. In addition, the system uses a belt conveyer to feed material in order to prevent cut tobacco from becoming fragments. The loading and distribution section has a buffer to shorten the weighing time and raise transport capacity. Application of the upper machine supervision system automatically calculates the cut tobacco consumption of each batch, effectively reduce the amount of smashed tobacco and raise economic efficiency.  SOURCE FROM: Oriental Tobacco News
