In a ministerial-level appraisal, experts believe the purely natural additive is a breakthrough for food additive production in China and on a par with world standards.
According to experts, as the additive is made from natural substances from plants, it has proved in tests to be not harmful to human beings and can be used in cigarettes and beverage. When this additive is used in cigarettes, it can greatly reduce the effects of toxic substances on the human body, preventing the harmful elements in cigarette tar from affecting human genes. The additives can also reduce the toxicity of nitrites and flavacin B1. At the appraisal meeting, the experts tasted cigarettes treated with the additive, and found that it did not affect the aroma of the cigarettes.
The experts noted that there are ample resources of the materials for the production of the additive in China, and manufacturing processes and techniques are available for commercial production. Enditem
