Bobst Sets up Sales & Service Unit in Turkey

Packaging machinery maker Bobst has set up a sales and services unit in Turkey to expand its presence in a fast-growing market, the company said.

Ibrahim Caglar was named managing director of the Turkish operation. "Turkey is a strong market at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, with positive growth prospects. This new subsidiary gives Bobst a strong platform to serve its customers in the region and is in line with its strategy to expand in fast growing markets across the globe. We are confident in the long term outlook for Turkey's packaging market," said Jean-Pascal Bobst, the group's chief executive officer. Enditem
