China: Changde Tobacco Machinery meets on operation in 2014, planning for 2015

Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. -- a leading Chinese tobacco machinery manufacturer based in south central China's Hunan Province -- recently held a meeting of all meddle-level and senior managers to earnestly sum up the operation in 2014 and discuss prospects and planning for major points of the work in 2015.

The year 2014 was a particularly unusual period of time for the course of development of Changde Tobacco Machinery. In accordance with the spirits and plans of the relevant annual meetings held by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) and China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Changde Tobacco Machinery based itself on systemic transformation and restructuring, adhered to reform and innovation, focused its energy on strengthening its production capacity, and made great efforts to catch up with the top tobacco machinery manufacturers, fulfilling all tasks of production and operation assigned by both China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. and the Board of Directors of Changde Tobacco Machinery in 2014.

In the year, a prototype of the ZJ118 new-type cigarette rolling and tipping unit developed by Changde Tobacco Machinery smoothly passed a technical appraisal organized by the STMA, while the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling and tipping unit developed by the company passed an appraisal organized by China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. for trial production in small batches.

In the year, Changde Tobacco Machinery registered steady improvement of both the quality of its economic operation and economic efficiency, with new achievements made in various aspects of the work.

At the meeting, the leaders of all departments of Changde Tobacco Machinery, in accordance with the key points of the annual work, earnestly summed up the work over the past year, ascertained where there were insufficiencies, and put forward ideas for leading work in 2015.
