China Tobacco Machinery, Focke of Germany meet on cooperation Source from: TobaccoChina Online 12/09/2014 ![]() China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. and Focke of Germany held talks in Shanghai City on November 26 focused on further strengthening of bilateral business cooperation, with both sides expressing fine expectation about further cooperation between them in future. The talks were held during a visit by a Focke delegation led by Mr. Irmin Steinkamp. Attending the talks were China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. Board of Directors Chairman and General Manager Wang Jianfa, Deputy General Manager Qu Wei, Technological Cooperation Department Director Fan Siqi and relevant staffers; Shanghai Tobacco Group Board of Directors Chairman and General Manager Hu Miaojiong, Communist Party Committee Secretary Guo Hongbin and Deputy General Manager Jin Jianqin; China Tobacco Machinery Technology Center General Manager Du Guofeng, Deputy General Manager Chen Li and the relevant technicians; the Focke delegation members; and the relevant staffers from a Hong Kong company. Besides expressing fine expectation about further bilateral cooperation in future, the two sides fully affirmed the smooth completion of the project of introduction of the FC 800 technology from Focke in a previous phase. Speaking at the talks, Wang Jianfa ma的e a three-point proposal on behalf of the Chinese side. Firstly, steps should be taken to further strengthen cooperation in market development. The two sides need to support each other and aid each other, jointly face the market and customers as a community. Secondly, steps should be taken to further strengthen cooperation in production and manufacturing. In the process of executing the project of introducing the FC 800 technology, Focke extended full-scale support in terms of technology, techniques, production organization, quality control, actual operation, etc, and also brought here fine work concepts. It is hoped that the two sides will go ahead with the mode of cooperation in the execution of the project of introducing the FC 800 technology, further strengthen bilateral human resources exchange and promote future cooperative production to higher levels. And thirdly, steps should be taken to further strengthen cooperation in the research and development of technology. In light of the demand for supplying abnormal cigarette packaging on tobacco markets in China, subjects of flexible packaging of soft and hard packets, serialization of FC 800 projects, future development smart tobacco machinery, etc, the two sides can establish joint taskforces to conduct sustained and in-depth research. It is advisable for the two sides to establish a council on bilateral cooperation, and realistically form a community of interests by means of cooperation in marketing, production and technology. Also speaking at the talks, Mr. Irmin Steinkamp said that the two sides need to earnestly consider and discuss intent on further bilateral cooperation in future, and will further exchange opinions on issues of common concern once again in the near future.
