China: Prototype of ZL29 Fiber Plug Forming Unit Passes Acceptance Appraisal

The first prototype of the ZL29 fiber plug forming unit developed and manufactured by Xuchang Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in central China's Henan Province passed an acceptance appraisal after 21 hours of test run at the filter tip production workshop of Kunming Cigarette Factory of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group recently.

In the test run, all the production indexes of the prototype were found to be in conformity with the standards of the user. Therefore,the prototype smoothly passed the appraisal for technical acceptance.

The development of the ZL29 fiber plug forming unit is a priority project of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration for technology import. China Tobacco Machinery Technology Center is responsible for converting the technology imported while Xuchang Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. is responsible for trial development and production of the unit.

After the first prototype of the ZL29 fiber plug forming unit was transported to Kunming Cigarette Factory in mid-July, the personnel dispatched by the project taskforce of the technology sub-center of Xuchang Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., together with the debugging personnel with the assembly branch, cooperated with the relevant personnel in debugging the prototype.

In the late period of debugging, the personnel dispatched by the project taskforce and the debugging personnel remained at the "frontline", ensuring smooth progression of the work of production and debugging, ensuring smooth passing of the appraisal for acceptance of the first prototype of the ZL29 fiber plug forming unit, and laying a solid foundation for the work of acceptance appraisal of prototypes in future.
