<strong>China: Changde Tobacco Machinery Donates Computers to Primary School</strong>

Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in Changde City of south central China's Hunan Province recently donated a number of computers to Yong'an Primary School in Wutan Township of Taojiang County in neighboring Yiyang City, in efforts to provide aid for local education.

On September 25, a six-member delegation from the Political Department and the Information Center of Changde Tobacco Machinery delivered the computers to the school after a journey of nearly 100 kilometers.

At the simple and crude office of school headmaster, the two sides conducted exchange of opinions in a friendly atmosphere. Afterwards, the school held a brief ceremony to take delivery of the computers, with the participation of all the teachers and students at the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, the headmasters of the school expressed gratitude to Changde Tobacco Machinery for the aid.

At the ceremony, Political Department Director Zhou Aitian gave a speech on behalf of the company, saying that extension of aid for education is an obligation assumable by whole society, that healthy development of students is related to the wellbeing of whole society, and that students are future hope of the motherland.

Finally, he wished that the students at the school will study hard and constantly strive to become stronger, in order to make contribution to the construction of the motherland in future.

The successful operation of the activity to extend the aid to the school was a result of great support by Changde Tobacco Machinery, development of an atmosphere of corporate culture by the company and the awareness of the company about the general situation and fulfillment of social responsibility.
