<strong>China: Changde Tobacco Machinery Technician Honored As Provincial Technical Expert</strong>

A senior technician with Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in south central China's Hunan Province, named Xie Wenping, was granted the title of honor as an 11th-term provincial-level technical expert of Hunan for his outstanding job performance, at a workshop held by Hunan Provincial Government on August 6.

At the workshop under the theme of "accelerating development of skillful human resources and assisting in promoting systemic transformation and development of the economy", Xu Shousheng, secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Hunan Provincial Committee and chairman of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People's Congress, met with Xie Wenping and delivered a keynote speech.

In the speech, Xu Shousheng urged all workers in the various sectors in Hunan Province to work hard, enrich their knowledge and become skillful,  seize all opportunities of achieving spectacular successes in their life and realizing their dreams, and vie to become technical experts, enrichment able persons and pacesetter in innovation and business startups.

After admission into Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., Xie Wenping worked as an assembly bench worker for many years. Xie Wenping is now a shift chief and senior technician at the ultrahigh speed filter tips fixing and joining machinery group of the assembly and overhaul workshop.

Xie Wenping is always cautious and conscientious in work, with outstanding proficiency of skills. Xie Wenping gives first place to interests of the company, and has participated many times in trial production and debugging of home-manufactured tobacco technical equipment, successfully accomplishing all work tasks. The winning of the title of honor by Xie Wenping this time has not only demonstrated the good mental outlook of the workforce of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. to keep forging ahead and going beyond, but will also encourage more and more workers to become outstanding talents in their job positions, keep improving their professional skills and comprehensive quality, and make greater contribution to sustained and healthy development of the enterprise.
