US: Company Making E-Cigarette Liquids Setting Up In Greenville

The popularity of electronic cigarette products is creating new job opportunities for residents in Greenville.

The company Perilum is in the process of opening a manufacturing facility to produce the liquid used in e-cigarettes.

The 18,000 square foot building on Woodridge Park Road will create 21 full time jobs with an average salary of $35,000 a year.

The liquids will be produced and then sold to other businesses to sell.

The company's spokesman, Will Daugherty, says they received a $210,000 grant from the Department of Commerce to help jump start this venture.

The company hopes to open sometime in late August.
