<strong>China: STMA circuit steering group inspects Changde Tobacco Machinery</strong>

A four-member circuit steering group from the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) inspected Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in south central China's Hunan Province on April 24, supervising and guiding the launch of activities of education on and practice in the mass line of the Communist Party of China, and holding a symposium hereon.

Speaking at the symposium, Secretary Qin Jiyu of the Communist Party Committee at Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. briefly introduced the basic situation of the launch of activities of education on and practice in the mass line of the Communist Party.
Meanwhile, Qin Yan, chief of the circuit steering group, delivered a concluding speech on the inspection.

Qin Yan expressed the belief that Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. is of advanced production equipment and first-rate management, that the activities of education on and practice in the mass line conducted by the company are characteristic, and that the options taken by it are remarkable.

She put forward a four-point requirement for the launch by Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. of activities of education on and practice in the mass line of the Communist Party:

Firstly, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. needs to further strengthen study among its staff members and workers, to enhance their awareness about the importance of activities of education on and practice in the mass line of the Communist Party.

Secondly, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. needs to further face up to existing problems, and understand that though problems are superficially manifested, they can be traced to the leadership.

Thirdly, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. needs to further solicit opinions from its staff members and workers, and strive to find out deep-hidden problems in light the existence of formalism, bureaucracy, hedonism and extravagance.

And fourthly, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. needs to further do a good job of making overall plans and taking all factors into consideration, and truly implement the intention of activities of education on and practice in the mass line of the Communist Party into the business development of the enterprise.

Finally, Qin Jiyu said that Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. will, in accordance with the four-point requirement raised by the circuit steering group of the STMA, earnestly find out and sort out existing problems on the basis of doing a good job of summarization of the work in the first phase, to lay a solid foundation for carrying out the work of rectification and implementation.
