<strong>China: First Agreement Signed on Exporting Tobacco Machinery to South Africa</strong>

China Tobacco Shanghai Import-Export Co., Ltd. of Shanghai Tobacco Group has successfully cooperated with Xuchang Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in southeast central China's Henan Province in signing an agreement with the final user on exporting a unit of cigarette making machinery to Argentina, following a series of negotiations.

The signing of the agreement on February 14 signified the first time for tobacco machinery manufactured in China to enter markets in South America, and also meant a historic breakthrough in export for the tobacco machinery manufacturing sector of China's tobacco industry.

In a next period of time, China Tobacco Shanghai Import-Export Co., Ltd., also known as Shanghai Tobacco Import-Export Co., Ltd., will strive to assist Chinese manufacturing enterprises in catching up with advanced world levels, exert all efforts to develop international markets, and continue playing a positive role in assisting home-manufactured tobacco machinery in "going global" and in increasing the influence of home-manufactured tobacco machinery.
