<strong>China Tobacco Machinery Delegation Inspects Changde Tobacco Machinery</strong>

A delegation from China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., led by Deputy General Manager Qu Wei, inspected Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in south central China's Hunan Province on January 24-25, visiting production facilities and hearing reports on business operation and development.

During the inspection, Board of Directors Chairman and General Manager Zhou Shiwei of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. reported to the delegation the situation of production and operation of the enterprise in 2013, and also its major plans for production, operation and development in 2014.

The delegation checked the operation of the Flexible Manufacturing System and machining equipment including that at the gantry machining center newly acquired in the ongoing execution of the project of technological transformation of the enterprise. The delegation learned about the development of the 8.000 cigarettes per minute cigarette rolling and tipping unit and batch production of the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling and tipping unit.

After hearing reports on the work of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., Qu Wei delivered an address at a meeting of high and middle-level managers and representatives of workers of the enterprise, pointing out: "In 2013, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. made great achievements in technological innovation, technological transformation, corporate management and human resources development. In a next stage, the enterprise needs to continue carrying forward its successes and overcoming difficulties. In conducting business operation, it needs to be courageous to act, be enthusiastic and press on, arouse all efforts to make itself prosperous and create yet new successes. It needs to develop the great ambitions to narrow down its distance from advanced world levels of tobacco machinery manufacturing, and to catch up with leading tobacco machinery manufacturers in the world, in efforts to make greater contribution to the development of the tobacco machinery manufacturing sector of the tobacco industry.

During the inspection, the delegation also kindly visited retired veterans of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., and extended greetings and best wishes to them.
