US: Mosittech Boosts Investment

The Moisttech factory in the city of Sarasota, which manufactures the company's range of NIR gauging systems, is the latest in a series of investments the company has made in the US over the last two years. These include an investment to transform its product technology centre in mid-2012.

In the same year Moisttech Corporation has invested to expand its software division which incorporates new development as well as new ongoing support for existing gauging systems.

"The Sarasota factory is an excellent example of how we are continuing to invest in the USA despite tough economic conditions," said Sean Herrington, director of Moisttech Corporation at the opening event in Sarasora. "This factory will contribute to accelerating the development of our activities and illustrates our capacity for innovation," he continued.

Herrington added that the NIR product line plays an important role in Moisttech's strategy for the future, emphasizing the company's philosophy that Moisttech as a growing global brand will continue its rapid growth and market presence with new and exciting additions to the already well-established brand.

At the event Herrington was joined by Adrian Fordham the general manager of Moisttech Corporation.

"Since its establishment in 2002 the Moisttech brand has built great presence in the market and long term this is very beneficial for the business as it will immediately double our capacity to produce equipment to meet our growing demand," Fordham said."The new facility has room for further rapid expansion as the business grows exponentially," he added.
