<strong>China: STMA Deputy Chief Inspects Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery</strong>

Deputy Director-General Zhao Hongshun of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) inspected Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in north China's Hebei Province on August 21, highly commenting on the recent operational achievements made by the company, and giving instructions on future business development.

Accompanying Zhao Hongshun on the inspection were Deputy General Manager Yu Mingfang of China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Director Li Ming of the Legislations Department of the STMA, General Manager Duan Tieli of China Tobacco Hebei Industrial Co., Ltd., Director Qian Jiang of Hebei Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration, et al.

During the inspection, Zhao Hongshun attentively heard a report given by Board of Directors Chairman and General Manager Guo Dongqing of Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. on operation of the company. Learning that Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. has realized sharp growth of economic efficiency and continued strengthening of its management, Zhao Hongshun expressed satisfaction.

Zhao Hongshun said revisiting Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. one year after a previous visit, he felt that the company has made remarkable new development and progress and that he is very happy about it. The remarkable new development and progress is manifested mainly in the following respects:

Firstly, cooperation between Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. and Hauni of Germany has entered a substantive stage.
