Chinese Company Develops Reconstituted Tobacco Shredding Machine Source from: TobaccoChina Online 09/25/2013 ![]() Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. No. 2 of Kunming Tobacco Machinery Group in southwest China's Yunnan Province, after two years of designing, test-production of prototypes and industrial experiment, has successfully developed the SQ911 Reconstituted Tobacco Rotary Shredding Machine, filling a gap in tobacco sheet cutting in the world. Under the support of Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. No. 2 of Kunming Tobacco Machinery Group launched the project of developing the SQ911 Reconstituted Tobacco Rotary Shredding Machine two years ago. The project of developing the SQ911 Reconstituted Tobacco Rotary Shredding Machine has been the first of its kind in the world. In efforts to guarantee smooth execution of the project, Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. No. 2 of Kunming Tobacco Machinery Group cooperated with Yunnan Provincial Machinery Research Institute in jointly solving hard technological problems after launching the project, making a full use of the advantage of Yunnan Provincial Machinery Research Institute in the analysis of computer finite elements to optimize designing of crucial parts and components. Besides, it also cooperated with China Tobacco Zhejiang Industrial Co., Ltd. in east China's Zhejiang Province in establishing a taskforce for solving hard technological problems in the project, making a use of achievements made by the technology center of China Tobacco Zhejiang Industrial Co., Ltd. in the research of technological characteristics of reconstituted tobacco to guide designing, experiments and demonstration of prototypes. Eventually, Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. No. 2 of Kunming Tobacco Machinery Group succeeded in developing the SQ911 Reconstituted Tobacco Rotary Shredding Machine, according to a report posted by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology on August 28.
