<strong>China: STMA Deputy Chief Inspects Qinhuangdao Tobacco</strong>

Deputy Director-General Zhao Hongshun of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMS) inspected Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in north China's Hebei Province on August 21, in conducting a second inspection of the company in merely more than one year.

Zhao Hongshun previously inspected Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in July 2012.

Accompanying Zhao Hongshun on the current inspection were Director Li Ming of the STMA's Legislation Department, General Manager Duan Tieli of China Tobacco Hebei Industrial Co., Ltd., Director Qian Jiang of Hebei Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration, Deputy General Manager Yu Mingfang of China Tobacco Machinery Group C., Ltd., et al.

Zhao and his entourage firstly inspected the technology center of Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., where Zhao Hongshun shook hands and held talks with technicians.

Zhao Hongshun said that in visiting Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in merely one than one year, he felt that the enterprise had obviously made new development and progress and that he felt quite happy, mainly because of the following points:

Firstly, cooperation with Hauni has entered a substantial stage. The cooperation with Hauni has enabled Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. to realize great progress in terms of technological innovation, human resources development, management know-how and team construction.

Secondly, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., following a round of technological transformation, has had fundamental changes in terms of the level of technology and equipment, and has taken the lead among domestic tobacco machinery manufacturers.
