<strong>China Tobacco Machinery Croup Holds Meeting on Improvement of ZJ116</strong>

China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. held in Changde City of south central China's Hunan Province a working meeting on technological improvement of the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling, joining and packing unit developed by Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in Hunan in cooperation with Foche of Germany.

So far, the first-phase work of development of the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling, joining and packing unit in an exclusive major research and development project has come to an end, and a prototype of the unit produced with imported technology passed a technical appraisal organized by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) in June 2013.

To sum up the work of trial production of the prototype with imported technology and make preparation for batch production of the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling, joining and packing unit, China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. held the working meeting on technological improvement of the unit.

The meeting was chaired by Director Fan Siqi of the Technology Cooperation Department of China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., with the theme of formulating on the basis of research plans for further technological improvement of the unit over a next period of time, and forming working schemes for improvement.

Speaking at the meeting, representatives from Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. first of all delivered a detailed report on the ongoing work of technological improvement made to the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling, joining and packing unit. Afterwards, the participants in the meeting heard introductions given by Shanghai Cigarette Factory and Changsha Cigarette Factory on results of operation of prototypes of the unit. The representatives from both cigarette factories said that although there still exists room for further improvement and upgrading of the prototypes, results of comparative tests show that the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling, joining and packing unit is superior to the imported PROTOS 2-2 unit in terms of comprehensive indexes.

A panel of experts attending the meeting, on the basis of sufficient exchange of opinions and communication, put forward suggestions for further technological improvement of the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling, joining and packing unit.

Also speaking at the meeting, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. Board of Directors Chairman and General Manager Zhou Shiwei said that the suggestions raised by the experts at the meeting are all very precious, and that Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. will implement the suggestions in the continued work of improvement of the unit after the meeting.

Meanwhile, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. will manage to strengthen communication and exchange of opinions with customers, in order to further improve the unit in light of the problems exposed in the operation of the prototypes, further improve the quality of products, satisfy the demand of customers and make preparation for batch production of the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette rolling, joining and packing unit, according to Zhou Shiwei.
