<strong>China: Mechanized Leaf Tobacco Hanger Flow Production Line Passes Expert Appraisal</strong>

The first home-manufactured mechanized leaf tobacco hanger flow production line - developed and made by Yunnan Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in southwest China's Yunnan Province - has recently passed appraisal by a panel of experts at a leaf tobacco hanger production lines appraisal meeting held in Yunnan's provincial capital city of Kunming under the auspices of China National Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd.

The development and presentation of the first home-manufactured mechanized leaf tobacco hanger flow production line has contributed to promoting the process of upgrading and updating flue-cured tobacco production equipment in China.

In an address delivered at the meeting, General Manager Wang Jianfa of China National Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. affirmed the smooth passage of the expert appraisal of the mechanized leaf tobacco hanger flow production line, and praised Yunnan Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. for solving hard technical problems in developing the mechanized leaf tobacco hanger flow production line within a relatively short period of time and under heavy responsibility, which has contributed to promoting the tobacco machinery manufacturing capacity of China to a higher level.

So far, Yunnan Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. has initially developed the capacity of large-scale production of the mechanized leaf tobacco hanger flow production line.

A panel of seven experts from both within and outside the tobacco industry, including those from Henan University of Agriculture, were invited to the meeting to conduct demonstration and appraisal. At the meeting, the panel of experts heard working reports given by Yunnan Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. on the technological process of the comb-structure leaf tobacco production line, the designing and manufacturing of specialized equipment, production management and worksite layout.

The panel of experts also inspected operation of the prototype of the mechanized leaf tobacco hanger flow production line at the scene, and examined and questioned the technical documentation of the prototype, before unanimously agreeing to have the mechanized leaf tobacco hanger flow production line pass the stringent appraisal.
