US: New Pouch-packing Solution from TDC Source from: Tobacco Reporter 01/31/2013 ![]() Technical Development Corp. (TDC), a sister company of International Tobacco Machinery (ITM), has added a new piece of equipment to its ISIS Pouch Packing Line—the Osiris. Using the most advanced and reliable technology available, Osiris produces perfectly shaped pouches, according to TDC.
![]() Osiris can create a variety of pouch specifications. Its labeling unit can add customer-specific needs, such as pricing, promotions or booklet stickers. It can also provide zip, embossing or additional sealing. This flexibility allows customers to make the most of market opportunities and promotional campaigns, and adapt to customer requests instantly. Osiris can be expanded with a wide range of optional, customer-specific modules. If desired, pouches can be fed into the ISIS packer manually, not compromising the time to market smaller runs of badges and allowing customers to adapt production lines according to changing demands or site conditions. Osiris is geared towards fast, non-stop manufacturing, without compromising on flexibility. The machine is equipped with double bobbin holders that allow the rolls to be spliced automatically without lowering the production speed. The Osiris completes TDC's portfolio, which also includes the Ibis tobacco weigher and Anubis bundle machine. Enditem |
