China: Ceremony Held to Mark Encapsulation of Principal Structure of Production Line

China Tobacco Fujian Longyan Industrial Co., Ltd. in southeast China Fujian Province held a ceremony on September 28 to mark the official encapsulation of the principal structure of its technologically transformed dry ice cut tobacco expansion line, as a result of fulfillment of a project of technological transformation of the production lines at the company. The participants in the ceremony included top leaders of China Tobacco Fujian Longyan Industrial Co., Ltd. including Communist Party Committee Secretary Jiang Zhiwei, leaders of the various departments of the company, representatives from supervisory institutions and construction companies, and the entire staff of the technological transformation administration office of the company. In an address delivered at the ceremony, Jiang pointed out that the project of technological transformation is a major approach adopted by China Tobacco Fujian Longyan Industrial Co., Ltd. to build "ecological fine cigarettes manufacturing bases" involving heavy responsibility, tight schedules and arduous tasks. The encapsulation of the principal structure of the technologically transformed dry ice cut tobacco expansion line signifies the making of a major staged success in the execution of the project of technological transformation, which contributes to laying a solid foundation for smooth realization of targets for technological installation, putting raw materials into production, etc in follow-up work processes. Jiang expressed the hope that the supervisory institutions, construction companies and the entire staff of the technological transformation department in charge of the project will continue making achievements on the basis of existing successes, keep forging ahead, further tighten quality control, strengthen production safety control, and accelerate the process of construction to ensure completion of the project of technological transformation of the dry ice cut tobacco expansion line as scheduled, in order to make new contribution to the drive of promoting both equipment and technology of the company to higher levels, and providing powerful support for promoting the production of cigarettes of the Septwoloves brand family to higher levels.
