China: Changde Tobacco Machinery Holds Symposium On Parts, Equipment Transformation

Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in south central China's Hunan Province held its 2012 annual symposium on projects of spare parts and components and equipment transformation in south China's Hainan Province on September 18, with the participation of more than 210 representatives from 85 China Tobacco regional industrial companies and manufacturing enterprises. The dignitaries attending the meeting included Jiang Haishan, inspector with the Marketing Development of China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd.; Zhou Shiwei, Board of Directors Chairman and General Manager of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd.; Hua Jianzhong, chairman of the Trade Union of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd.; Guo Hongbin, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Spare Parts and Components Company of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd.; and Xiong Weiguo, general accountant with Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd.. In an address delivered at the meeting, Jiang Haishan reiterated the major instruction of Director General Jiang Chengkang of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration "to focus the energy of the whole tobacco industry of China on promoting development of the tobacco machinery manufacturing sector of the tobacco industry", and affirmed the work and achievements made by Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. over recent years. In light of the work of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. for the present stage and over a future period of time, Jiang Haishan put forward a three-point proposal: Firstly, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. shall continue to play its role as a leading channel for the supply of tobacco machinery spare parts and components, in the capacity of a leading tobacco machinery manufacturer in China. Secondly, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. shall continue to strengthen the construction of platforms for guaranteeing the supply of tobacco machinery spare parts and components. And thirdly, Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. shall continue to promote its service provision to higher levels. Also speaking at the meeting, General Manager Li Jun of the Spare Parts and Components Company of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. introduced the 13-year course of development of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., and briefed the participants on the situation of operation of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in 2012 and key points of the company's work in 2013. Finally, Li Jun promised that the Spare Parts and Components Company will, with "service provision, production and guarantee of supply" as central targets, keep improving its service provision, enlarge the scope of service, promote its service provision to higher levels, effectively give play to its role as a leading supply channel in the capacity of a leading tobacco machinery manufacturer, and strive to make a use of its high-quality service, rapid response and high quality of products in providing all China tobacco regional companies and all cigarette making enterprises with services of equipment maintenance and repair, upgrading and transformation of new technologies, and equipment guarantee including spare parts and components service, etc. Some representatives from China Tobacco regional companies and cigarette making enterprises attending the meeting highly commented on the mechanism for rapid response of both Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. and its Spare Parts and Components Company, affirmed the service idea of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. to "make clients successful", and put forward valuable proposals for future work of the Spare Parts and Components Company.
