China: Xuchang Tobacco Machinery Corp. Begins to Build New Factory

Xuchang Tobacco Machinery Corp. in central Chinas' Henan Province held a foundation-laying ceremony on Sep.1 in new factory location in Xuchang city to kick off the project of its relocation and technological transformation of joint workshop, with the participation of a number of dignitaries of the company and construction companies. Those attending the foundation-laying ceremony and making speeches at it included General Manager Dong Xiuming, Secretary of Party Committee Zhang Yanling. In his speech, Dong introduced basic situation of the project. The project involves a total investment of 110 million Yuan. The new workshop will cover a floor space of 55000 square meters. When the project is completed, the new workshop will be the core production area. The workshop is an important milestone in the whole project of relocation and technological transformation of Xuchang Tobacco Machinery Corp..
