China: STMA Delegation Inspects Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd.

A high-level delegation from the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA), led by STMA Deputy Director-General Zhao Hongshun, inspected Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in north China’s Hebei Province – a leading Chinese tobacco machinery manufacturer – on July 31, visiting production facilities and making on-site guidance over business operation. Accompanying the STMA delegation during the inspection were Deputy Executive Director of the STMA’s leading group for rectifying and regulating the order of the market economy, General Manager Duan Tieli of China Tobacco Hebei Industrial Co., Ltd., Director Qian Jiang of Hubei Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration and other senior officials of the STMA. The STMA delegation firstly visited the manufacturing center of Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. despite a heavy rain. At the entrance to the workshops at the manufacturing center, Zhao Hongshun expressed cordial appreciation on the great changes taking place in Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. following completion of its project of relocation and technological transformation. Guided by illustrators, Zhao Hongshun carefully inspected the flexible sheets production line, and advanced equipment of laser cutting, numerical control press, etc. Taking a step closer, Zhao Hongshun checked a redrying machine door plunk that had just rolled down the flexible sheets production line, and expressed satisfaction over the changes and first-rate technologies and equipment brought about by the fulfillment of the project of relocation and technological transformation. Afterwards, Zhao Hongshun went to the SQ36X large capacity flexible (straight) blade tobacco cutting machinery with level revolving knives that had just passed appraisal for technical acceptance by the STMA at a ceremony held in Changsha City of south central China’s Hunan Province recently , to carefully check it. Learning that the machinery had been independently developed by Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. with the adoption of 14 patent technologies, Zhao Hongshun nodded in affirmation. Zhao Hongshun also carefully examined cut tobacco loosening and moisturizing equipment in production, further asked about progress in cooperation between Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. and Hauni of Germany, and also asked about the situation of production and operation of Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. so far in 2012. Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. Board of Directors Chairman and General Manager Guo Dongqing et al accompanied the STMA delegation during the visit, and reported to the delegation the situation of production and operation of the company.
