"Push-on" Kretek Filter Debuts in Indonesia

Filtrona Filter Products, a division of Filtrona PLC, has launched Push-A-Tip, a new push-on filter for kreteks, which was developed at Filtrona Filters’ regional development center in Indonesia. Push-A-Tip is the first push-on filter for the growing kretek market, and enables consumers to enjoy the smooth experience of smoking a kretek with a filter at a low cost. Push-A-Tip is also available in menthol flavor. The Push-A-Tip filter is designed primarily for plain, machine-made kreteks, but it can also be made to fit the specifications of hand-rolled kretek brands. “Push-A-Tip is the latest addition to Filtrona Filters' portfolio of innovative Kretek products,” says Chris Franklin, Filtrona’s innovation and new business development director. “It enables kretek manufacturers to offer consumers an effective and economical way to add the advantages of a filter to their products.” The Push-a-Tip filter is manufactured in Surabaya.
