Micro RYO Filter Newly Presented

Filtrona Filter Products has enlarged its roll-your-own offering with the introduction of its Micro Slim RYO filter in Pop-a-Tip™ format and in a new packaging concept for RYO products, the push-and-slide box. Innovation and new business development director, Chris Franklin, said these introductions were "the next set in a series of innovations being launched by Filtrona for the RYO market". Each of these innovations, Franklin said, would boost Filtrona's RYO package, which he described as "a cost-effective, end to end solution offering innovative filter tips packaged in branded, retail-ready boxes, bags or Pop-a-Tips…". With a diameter of 4.7 mm and a circumference of 14.7mm, the recently-launched Micro Slim RYO filter is said to be the smallest RYO filter on the market. It is 40 per cent smaller than king size filters and 12.5 per cent smaller than super slim filters. By using the new Micro Slim RYO filter in conjunction with extra slim papers and less tobacco, consumers could achieve a smooth and elegant smoking experience while reducing the cost per cigarette, Filtrona said in a press note. Micro Slim filters are available in the easy-to-use Pop-a-Tip™ format, whose transparent film protects them until they are removed for use. And they are available in the Push-and-Slide box, which was developed in response to customer feedback and is suitable for storing RYO filter tips in Pop-a-Tip™ or loose tip format. Enditem
