China: Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Corp. Completes Project of Relocation, Technological Transformation

Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Corp. in north China's Hebei Province has recently completed its project of relocation and technological transformation and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing Unit. On June 13, Wang Qing, hosted a meeting to mark the completion of the project of relocation and technological transformation and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing Unit. Yu Mingfang, vice general manager of China Tobacco Machinery Group, and Hu Yingjie, director of Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Area, attended the meeting. A panel of 20 experts and officials designated to inspect and technically accept the project issued a certificate of approval of the project after inspecting sites. In 2007, a foundation laying ceremony was held to kick off the project of relocation and technological transformation of Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Corp.. The project involves a total investment of 464 million yuan, and covers a floor space of 0.1 million square meters. After busy work over a period of four years, the construction work of the project was basically completed, and the project went into trial production in 2011. The panel of experts and officials was divided into three groups in hearing reports, reviewing the application documentation and conducting on-site verification and inspection. After completing the process of inspection and verification, the panel of experts unanimously agreed to technically accept the project of relocation and technological transformation and auxiliary equipment manufacturing unit of Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Corp.. In an address delivered at the meeting, Yu expressed the hope that Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Corp. will take the completion of the project as a chance for further business development by seizing all opportunities of development, striving to reach higher levels and creating new successes, in making new contribution to local socioeconomic development. Officials from Planing Department and Financial of STMA, Technology Department, Planning Department, Financial Department of China Tobacco Machinery Corp,, and Production Safety Supervision Bureau, Quality Supervision Bureau, Environmental Protection Agency, attended the meeting. Project design, supervision and audit units, including Wuzhou Eggineering Design & Research Institute, also attended the meeting. Enditem
