Client Factory Sends Delegation to Machinery Manufacturer Check Operation of Prototypes

A four-member delegation from Shanghai Cigarette Factory, led by Deputy Director Guo Shiyang, arrived on April 11 at Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in south central China's Hunan Province - a leading Chinese tobacco machinery manufacturer - to conduct preliminary inspection of operation of prototypes of ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units, which Shanghai Cigarette Factory will purchase from it under agreements signed earlier. The prototypes are the first batch of ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units independently manufactured by Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. During the inspection at the debugging section of the assembly workshop, technicians for assembly and debugging demonstrated to the delegation the operation of the prototypes of the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units which will be delivered to Shanghai Cigarette Factory shortly, and reported to it major technical parameters of the units. Through exchange of opinions, the two sides reached consensus at a high level on installation and debugging of the units after they are shipped to Shanghai Cigarette Factory. Guo Shiyang expressed satisfaction over operation of the prototypes, affirmed the performance and quality of the units, and expressed the hope that the ultrahigh speed cigarette making units will be shipped to Shanghai Cigarette Factory at an early date, in order that they will be used for cigarette production as early as possible. After inspection by the client factory, the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units ordered by Shanghai Cigarette Factory will be dismantled for packaging and shipment soon. Upon arrival at Shanghai Cigarette Factory, the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units - the first of their kind developed in a major exclusive project of research and development - will undergo assembly and debugging at the client factory. In a next phase, the taskforce designated to develop the ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making unit will shift the focus of its energy onto the assembly, production and debugging of flexible production lines in small batches.
