Ultrahigh-Speed Cigarette Making Unit Prototype Passes Appraisal for Technical Acceptance

A prototype (PROTOS2-2) of the ZJ116 ultrahigh-speed cigarette making unit manufactured by Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in south central China's Hunan Province for Shanghai Tobacco Group passed appraisal for internal technical acceptance by China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. at a ceremony held on December 14, 2011.

The appraisal for technical acceptance was presided over by Fan Siqi, director of the technology department of China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. It covered four hours of free running, 15 minutes of loaded running at a low speed of 4,000 cigarettes/per minute), 10 minutes of loaded running at the full speed of 16,000 cigarettes/per minute, and sample inspection of functions of the unit. The smooth completion of the appraisal for technical acceptance of the ZJ116 ultrahigh-speed cigarette making unit manufactured for Shanghai Tobacco Group indicates that Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. has made great success in executing the project of developing the ZJ116 ultrahigh-speed cigarette making unit for the current stage. It has also contributed to paving the way for its test use and contract signing at Shanghai Tobacco Group in 2012. Also present at the ceremony of appraisal for technical acceptance of the ZJ116 ultrahigh-speed cigarette making unit were General Manager Du Guofeng of the technology center of China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., a representative from Hauni of Germany and relevant technicians from the technology center of China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. and Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd.
