Board of Directors Chairman Guo Dongqing of Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. delivered a keynote address at the meeting. Over recent years, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. has achieved some breakthrough in the research and development of leaf tobacco cutting technologies, and kept presenting new tobacco machinery meeting the requirement of characteristic technologies for making "Chinese-style cigarettes". In particular, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. has made major breakthrough in the development of leaf tobacco cutting machinery of the SQ36 series, research and development of new-type cylinder cut tobacco curing machines, research and development of the SH75 model oil (gas) burning tower-type cut tobacco curing machinery with the function of automatic removal of alien objects. Specifically, the leaf tobacco cutting machinery of the SQ36 series is a product independently developed by Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., with the grant of 14 patents for utility models. The company has produced two units of the SH75 model oil (gas) burning tower-type cut tobacco curing machinery with the function of automatic removal of alien objects for Hongta Group - a leading Chinese tobacco manufacturer based in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province. Presently, products manufactured by Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. are in use by all large tobacco manufacturing enterprises in China, with the achievement of remarkable social and economic results. Besides, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. has also been successful in the development of international markets. While striving to strengthen independent research and development, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. has made new headway in foreign technological cooperation and introduced advanced foreign technologies, with further deepening of technological cooperation with Hauni and Garbuio-Dickinson, and with orderly cooperation with Hauni of Germany in joint technological research and development. Presently, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. boasts a complete range of research bodies and facilities, including a leaf tobacco cutting experiment line, a leaf tobacco threshing and redrying joint laboratory and an electric control laboratory.
