China: Tobacco Machinery Maker Meets on Production of Ultrahigh Speed Cigarette Making Unit

The production department of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in south central China's Hunan Province held a meeting on February 7 on preliminary preparation and arrangement for organization of production ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units under the flexible assembly mode. The meeting was presided over by Yan Chongyang, assistant to the general management and director of the production department, and was attended by leaders and relevant personnel from the comprehensive planning department, the production technology department, the information center, the research institute, the quality inspection department, the metal plate heating workshop and the assembly workshop of the company. The meeting decided that organization of production of ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units under the flexible assembly mode will be officially started with the first batch of ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units independently manufactured by Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. According to the meeting, trial production of the first batch of ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units under technological guidance by Hauni of Germany is in the final stage of completion. As a result of accumulation of experience in trial production and basic completion of preliminary technological preparation, conditions have become ripe for Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. to independently produce ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units. Although there are still problems in terms of formulation of plans, the way of supply of electric appliances and raw materials and adoption of technologies for making painted parts and components, they can be effectively solved through coordination among various departments. According to the planning of Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., the first ZJ116 ultrahigh speed cigarette making units independently manufactured by Changde Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. will undergo assembly around March 20, 2012.
