Hoffmann Acquires CM Packaging's Tobacco Tin Business

Hoffmann Neopac of Switzerland will take over the cigarillo and cigarette tin business from CM Packaging in the Netherlands. Hoffmann has also signed a long-term manufacturing agreement with CMP in order to establish a second production site in Europe and to enlarge production capacity for cigarillos and cigarette tins. Focusing on its core businesses in general line metal packaging and injection moulded plastic packaging, CM Packaging will end its activities in metal packaging for cigarillos and cigarettes by the end of this month.
