Cost Reduction Plans on Course After Union Agreement

The Treofan Group, a global leader in high-end BOPP films, said yesterday that it would continue to focus on its cost-reduction strategy in what it described as 'this challenging market environment'. The company made its announcement after having reached a multi-year agreement with its Works Council and Union on a number of issues. 'Treofan will further develop the Neunkirchen site in Germany, adding an additional line for Treo-PoreĀ® products,' the company said in a press note. 'These high-end membrane films are utilized by several types of energy storage and transmission devices.
