Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Corp. And Xiamen Cigarette Factory Sign Pact on Technological Cooperation

Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in north China's Hebei Province and Xiamen Cigarette Factory in southeast China's Fujian Province signed an agreement on June 10 on technological cooperation in the installation of a new 1140kg/h carbon dioxide cut tobacco expansion line at Xiamen Cigarette Factory. The agreement was signed during a visit to Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. by a four-member delegation from Xiamen Cigarette Factory, led by its Deputy Director Huang Hong. Accompanied by General Manager Yu Zhongquan and Deputy General Manager Li Jianmei of Beijing Date Complete Tobacco Equipment Technology Development Co., Ltd. affiliated to Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd., the delegation arrived at Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. on June 9. It was reported that the new 1140kg/h carbon dioxide cut tobacco expansion line will be supplied to Xiamen Cigarette Factory in June 2012, and will be formally put into operation at the end of 2012. Before the signing of the agreement, the two sides earnestly conducted in-depth talks on specific details of the bilateral technological cooperation, reaching consensus. Deputy General Manager Zou Jinhua, Projects Department Chief Zhang Guangsheng, Technology Center projects chief Li Yinglian and other representatives from the Projects Department and Technology Center of Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. attended the talks. In 2002, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. supplied a 570kg/h carbon dioxide cut tobacco expansion line to Xiamen Cigarette Factory. In efforts to further meet the requirement for lowering the content of tar and other harmful substances in producing "Chinese-style cigarettes", and enlarge its annual production capacity, Xiamen Cigarette Factory will install a new 1140kg/h carbon dioxide cut tobacco expansion line.
