Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. in north China's Hebei Province held on March 16 a meeting on strengthening management attended by managers at the middle level and higher, in implementation of the spirit of speeches delivered by Director-General Jiang Chengkang and Deputy Director-General Li Keming of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) at a recent conference on the development of China's tobacco machinery manufacturing sector. As an enterprise directly affiliated to China National Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. boasts unique new leaf tobacco cutting, threshing and redrying technologies. In the year, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. had four of its research projects registered by China National Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. - the project of "domestic research and development of CTD tower-type cut tobacco curing machines", the project of "domestic research and development of HSS ultra-high speed wind distributors", the project of "research and development of the redrying line leaf web mass detecting and removing system", and the project of "research of the principle of the intelligent control system of the drum-type cut tobacco curing machine". In 2011, Qinhuangdao Tobacco Machinery Co., Ltd. is planning to have six of its research projects registered by China National Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd., and is planning to apply for two patents of invention and six patents of utility models.
