ISO Certifications for ITM Poland

International Tobacco Machinery Poland has successfully completed the certification process for ISO 14001:2004, and recertification for ISO 9001:2008. ITM Poland received the ISO 9001 certification in 2000. Since then, the company has maintained its activity in accordance with international quality management practices, which was reflected in recertification. The ISO 14001 was granted to ITM in February. Because environmental management is no longer a distinct asset for companies, but a worldwide requirement for doing business, ISO 14001:2004 certification benefits both the internal organization and customers. With a systematic and integrated approach for environmental management in place, the Environmental Management System (EMS) becomes part of the organization's business structure.
