Edelmann Increases Turnover

The Edelmann Group reported a turnover of €188 million ($260.88 million) in fiscal 2010, up 4.4 percent over the previous year. "The 2010 financial year was a challenge," says Edelmann spokesman Dierk Schröder. "Against the background of rising prices in the procurement markets, we were able to exploit our process and market expertise to the full." A suppliers of cardboard packaging, Edelman has been growing internationally, expanding operations in Poland, Hungary and Germany. In the coming financial year, the company intends to focus on growth regions such Mexico. Following recent acquisitions, the group is anticipating turnover to increase to €230 million in 2011. Enditem
