Claessens Cartils continues as Cartils

Claessens Cartils, a branding and packaging design consultancy with offices in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, will continue as Cartils. The company was founded in 1960 by Dominique P.G. Claessens as Claessens Product Consultants. It was one of the first branding and packaging design consultancies and became renowned for its work with international tobacco brands such as La Paz, Douwe Egberts and Drum. In 2007 the group expanded with a London office, which was named Cartils. In 2008 the head office in The Netherlands changed its name to Claessens Cartils, to communicate the connection between the two offices. The company says it decided to continue as Cartils due to the more "exclusive" nature of the name, which also better reflects its ambition for global expansion. Enditem
