Filtrona Appoints Global Sales Director

Filtrona Filter Products has appointed Olivier Camus as its global sales director.

Camus, who comes to the position from his previous role as vice president Asia Pacific for Swarovski AG, will be based at Filtrona's office in Singapore. Prior to his role at Swarovski AG, Camus was a director for CIBA Vision, a global leader in the research, development and manufacturing of contact lenses and lens care products. He has held senior sales positions also at CIBA Composites and Arvin Schrader. "The business challenge faced by such a rapidly changing and increasingly regulated industry made the role with Filtrona particularly appealing to me," said Camus, who has Masters degrees in International Management and in Science in Management and Business Administration. "The opportunity to work for a company which has such a clear vision and strong values as well as an international presence was equally important.
