Republic to Acquire Zig Zag GB

Republic Technologies (UK) (RTUK) has agreed to acquire all of the shares of Zig Zag GB (ZZGB), which is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for papers, filters and roll-your-own accessories on behalf of Republic Technologies International. The agreement includes the roll-your-own papers, filters and smoking accessories business of the Manchester based ZZGB, but excludes its tobacco products. "This is an exciting move for us," said RTUK managing director, John Catania."Papers, filters and other smoking accessories are at the heart of Republic's business and are in synergy with the legendary Zig Zag brand and product range."
