With a BSc and PhD in chemistry, Frankham started his working life at Courtaulds Research where he worked his way up to the position of research director for one of that company's man-made fiber divisions.
From Courtaulds he moved to Tencel as technical marketing director before becoming regional director for Asia and the Americas, in Hong Kong, and finally business director for the textile products division.
Frankham left Tencel after its acquisition by the Lenzing Group and joined Cha Technologies in Hong Kong working on a number of special projects.
On returning to the United Kingdom at the end of 2006, Frankham joined Cerulean as sales and marketing director and took responsibility for all sales and service activities for the tobacco and tube packing parts of the business.
"In my new role as managing director, I am particularly looking forward to developing our customer focused approach even further," says Frankham.
"This will enable Cerulean to be even more flexible and able to adapt its products and services quickly to meet changing customer needs.
"Ultimately, I want our customers to see Cerulean as a company that can provide solutions, rather than just instruments." Enditem
