Emkon Shows New Pouch Packers

Representatives of the worldwide roll-your-own industry are today meeting in Kirchlinteln, Germany, for the official launch by Emkon of a new generation of pouch packers. The themes of the day are speed, flexibility and quality as the company unveils three machines, one of which, the Speed 180, is said to be the first pouch packer to run at 180 pouches per minute. The first commercial version of the Flex 120, which offers flexibility in respect of filling weights, formats, bag widths and bag materials, is being shown running before being shipped to Pöschl. The Base 60, meanwhile, is a compact pouch packer that users motion linking technology and provides for the production of high-quality products on a machine that offers easy handling and low maintenance.
