High-level Hauni Delegation Visits HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group

A high-level delegation from Hauni Maschinenbau AG of Germany, led by Chairman Christopher Somm of the Executive Board of Hauni, visited the HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province on June 16, for talks with leaders of HongyunHonghe on further development of business cooperation between the two sides. During the visit, Vice-President Wu Yi of HongyunHonghe extended warm welcome to the Hauni delegation, recalled the history of fruitful cooperation between the two sides over past years, and introduced the development strategy, economic operation, development of the Yunyan cigarette brand, etc of HongyunHonghe. Wu said that HongyunHonghe will accelerate fulfillment of its ongoing project of technical transformation, and expressed the wish to get assistance and support from Hauni in this endeavor. Speaking on the same occasion, Somm briefed the hosts on Hauni's economic operation and market development in China, and said that Hauni will continue to attach importance to and support HongyunHonghe as it has always been doing, make efforts to improve its work of customs-oriented sales and service, and manage to meet the needs of HongyunHonghe. Somm also introduced the functions, characteristics and advantages of cigarette filter tip forming machines newly developed and produced by Hauni. During the visit, the two sides had in-depth exchange of opinions and talks on the choice and equipment, maintenance and repair, services, etc, reaching consensus. After the talks, the Hauni delegation was also shown the site of technical transformation and relocation of Kunming Cigarette Factory of HongyunHonghe. Enditem
