FlexLink, a supplier of conveying solutions to the tobacco industry and other sectors, reported its best year ever in 2008, according to CEO Mattias Perjos. Sales increased by 7 percent to SEK1.45 billion ($164.39 million) in 2008. Its order intake was SEK1.41 billion. Earnings before interest, taxes and amortization of intangible assets (EBITA) were SEK151 million, compared with SEK88 million in 2007. The EBITA margin was 10 percent (7 percent in 2007). Adjusted for exceptional costs, the EBITA was SEK167 million (SEK125 million) and the adjusted EBITA margin 12 percent (9 percent).
