Feb 13, 2009-Inspired by the success of its first Automation Tobacco Meeting in 2007, Beckhoff Automation will hold a second event June 17-19, 2009 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Berlin, Germany. The meeting offers participants an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss technical issues with tobacco and machinery experts. The forum will include presentations on augmented reality, consistent control technologies and new software. As of February, more than 70 electrical engineers from more than 40 companies had already signed up, including representatives of British American Tobacco, Imperial Tobacco, Japan Tobacco, Philip Morris International, Focke, G.D., Hauni and ITM.
