New flavorist at Hertz & Selck

Feb 4, 2009-Dr. Dirk Beil has joined Hertz & Selck of Hamburg, Germany, as tobacco flavorist. Armed with a degree in food chemistry from the University of Hamburg, Beil has considerable experience in the development of tobacco flavors. In addition to his detailed knowledge of sensory functions and applications, he also specializes in quality assurance and international flavor legislation.
