The system offers a range of possibilities: direct feed to all cigarette makers, direct make-pack linkage as well as linkups to all filter making lines. It is designed to cater for a wide variety of production requirements and is also scalable to ensure that machines can easily be modified to suit different manufacturing setups.
This is the first integrated solution to permit the use of Hauni's compartment trays. These are divided into several equally sized compartments to assure product alignment and improve the uptime of the whole production line.
Changing the product length can now be completed within minutes due to the consistently aligned product flow oriented towards the center of the product. New features include chains for the RTS conveying system that convey products more gently, supporting them along their entire length.
The basic version of this logistics system, comprising the HCF-C tray filler, Magomat-C tray discharger and the Comflex-CV linkup is designed for up to 12,000 filter and cigarette rods per minute. The second level consisting of HCF-M, Magomat-M and comflex-MV can easily cope with higher requirements, making it best for connection to Protos-M generation makers and Hauni's new twin-rod filter maker, KDF-M.
Different levels of automation can also be implemented-right through to a fully automated storage system. Hauni can provide a solution for any rod-shaped product, including lengths surpassing today's limit of 150 mm. With a QSC kit, manufacturers can change formats fast. They can also switch between ordinary trays, compartment trays and cardboard boxes without having to convert the machine.
Magomat-F is yet another variant of this system. It is a perfect fit for feeding filters to Merlin and Protos-M lines via massflow. Enditem
