NDC Celebrates Five Years in Japan

Jan 9, 2009-NDC is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the opening of its direct sales and service office in Tokyo, Japan. When the office opened in 2003, Hiroo Aiba, Hideo Shimizu, and Kikuro Kubota offered more than 60 years of combined experience in providing product measurement and control solutions to Japanese industry. The NDC Japan office has since seen strong growth in the extrusion, converting, nonwovens and paper industries as well as in foods, pharmaceuticals, and industrial processes. "Though we were very optimistic at the beginning, we knew as a start up, we would be facing challenges," says, Aiba, manager of NDC Japan. "Thanks to the fact NDC had a worldwide operation with many installations in prominent companies, we were given good opportunities to demonstrate the benefits of our products. "We are proud of the success we have had in five short years, with a tripling of annual sales of NDC products within Japan during that time." Enditem
