Cham raises paper prices Source from: tobaccoreporter.com 10/16/2006 ![]() The Cham Paper Group will increase the prices for its papers by between 5 percent and 8 percent to offset eroding margins.
The company says the increasing cost of raw materials such as pulp and chemicals have been further aggravated by higher energy and transportation expenses.
The Cham Paper Group has an annual capacity of 260,000 tons of specialty papers for flexible packaging, self-adhesives and wet glue labels. The group comprises five paper mills in three European countries.
